In case you have been living under a rock, Jeremy Childs has decided to forgo his senior season with the Boise State Broncos and throw his hat into the 2009 NFL Draft.

82727065JF022_BOWLING_GREENThe early departure leaves Bronco Nation wondering who will be catching balls from Kellen Moore next year. With Vinny Perretta, Chris O’Neill, Jullian Hawkins and others gone, the Broncos return the likes of Austin Pettis, Tyler Shoemaker and Titus Young.

Childs is the 3rd Boise State Bronco to declare early for the NFL Draft. It worked out well for Ryan Clady and Orlando Scandrick in 2008. Leaving early shows that Boise State does indeed have talent. All three guys were recruited while Dan Hawkins the program’s head coach.

Of course the other side of this story is what round he will be drafted. Bronco Country poster 8ntmuch breaks down WR’s looking for a shot in the NFL.  With that I created a simple poll regarding Jeremy’s decision to leave early.  Best of luck to you Jeremy in the future.
